Fire Clay Brick
Fire clay bricks are one of the main varieties of aluminum silicate products, which are made of clay clinker as aggregate and refractory clay as binder.
Refractory products with Al2O3 content of 30%-48% and SiO2 content of 50-65%. The refractoriness of clay products fluctuates between 1580-1770°C, and increases with the increase of the ratio of Al203/SiO2. The softening temperature is between 1250-1450°C, mainly depending on the chemical mineral composition and density.
Clay refractory bricks are weakly acidic refractory products. With the increase of SiO2 content, the acidity increases, and it has certain corrosion resistance to acidic slag, but poor corrosion resistance to alkaline slag. Therefore, fire clay bricks are suitable as weak acidic refractory products. The lining of a slag furnace.
Fire clay bricks are low in price and high in cost performance, and are one of the products with the largest output and widest application among shaped refractory products.

Application
Metallurgical industry
Clay bricks can be widely used in ladles of iron and steel plants (such as clay bricks universal arc bricks), taphole heat (such as sleeve bricks), hot blast stove regenerators (such as clay checker bricks), kiln flue (also known as acid-resistant bricks), etc.
Building materials industry
Clay bricks are widely used in kilns in the building materials industry, such as kaolin tunnel kilns, ceramsite rotary kilns and other kilns that do not require high calcination temperatures, especially lime shaft kilns, which are generally used in non-critical parts such as pre-tropical zones and transition zones, or It is used outside the working layer as a secondary working layer to protect the kiln shell.
Glass industry
The lower grate and checker bricks in the regenerator chamber of the glass melting furnace do not have high temperature requirements, and clay bricks can be used, which are generally called BN-40a and BN-40b professionally.
Coking industry
The most common refractory products for coke oven are silicon bricks, but simply using silicon bricks is not enough. Generally, the clay bricks are often used for low and large parts of the coke furnace temperature, such as the door, lining tubing tiles, small flue bricks, furnace roof, heat storage room sealing wall and grid tiles.
Carbon and graphite industry
Carbon roasting furnaces and graphite furnaces are not very high in temperature, but they require low creep and denseness. Most of the whole set of materials are mainly clay bricks, but most of them are low creep tiles, or dense clay tiles, such as Zn, such as Zn -45, etc. The price is higher than that of ordinary clay bricks, and it is specifically determined by customer indicators and testing requirements.
Steel industry (blast furnace)
The clay brick for blast furnaces is produced by refractory clay as the raw material for building clay bricks lined with the inside of the blast furnace. It is mainly used for the stove throat, furnace body, furnace cylinder, bottom of the furnace, and large blast furnace body of small blast furnaces. The blast furnace uses clay bricks with high refractory strength, which can resist long -term wear of the furnace. It has excellent performance than ordinary clay bricks.
